Changes in 4.0d compared to 4.0c
• Fixed an issue in the Monitor where the connection to cameras in some circumstances could hang without trying to reconnect or report an error. If this
happened the Monitor would report “Failed to Add to Database” for the camera after archiving. The problem can in rare cases still occur but the databases
remain intact and will continue to operate properly after the Monitor has been restarted.
• The HTTP port in the web server was only saved when closing the application. This caused the port to be set back to the saved number when Windows
was rebooted. The Port number is now saved immediately when changed.
• A problem where the wrong DLK in some circumstances could be displayed in the “Add device Wizard” has been corrected.
• Digital zoom in the Browser can now zoom further in.
• The live and playback feed progress bars in the Real-time Feed Server were by mistake removed in the 4.0c version. The progress bars have been
included again.
• The “Panasonic NW470” camera was incorrectly detected as the “Panasonic WV-NS320”, this has been corrected.
• Added German and Danish language support.
Changes in 4.0c compared to 4.0b
• Fixed an issue where the database would report “Failed to add to database” when the maximum size of the database (40Gb) was reached before the
recording limit (E.g. 600.000 Images) was reached. The database now deletes the oldest recordings if the maximum limit is reached, so that the database
continues to operate properly.
Changes in 4.0b compared to 4.0a
• Added new devices: Axis 206M, Axis 206W, Axis 211, Sony SNT-V501
• iPIX CV-D2000 driver name changed to “iPIX IS/CV Series”

• Fixed an issue where the Recordings Viewer exported recorded images in the Database format when the JPG export option was selected.

• None - this is the first release of Milestone XProtect Basis.
Functionality differences in XProtect Basis 4.0a compared to Xprotect Business 3.1f
• The maximum number of cameras supported in the Monitor is 16.
• The maximum number of cameras that can be viewed in the Viewer is 1.
• The maximum number of supported CPU’s is 1.
• The support for PTZ preset positions is not included.
• The PTZ Preset Position “Patrolling” & “PTZ on Event” feature are not included.
• The support for I/O inputs is not included.
